COSA Xentaur and Precisive LLC sign agreement to produce on-line multi-gas component instrumentation based on Precisive’s Multiplex Tunable Filter Spectrometry (MTFS) focused on impurity analysis for the air separation and industrial gas markets.
Cosa Xentaur is pleased to announce an agreement with Precisive LLC to produce on-line infrared based component analysis and monitoring systems for real-time measurements using Precisives’s Multiplex Tunable Filter Spectrometry (MTFS). This use of a unique wavelength-sweeping and tunable filter spectrometer results in an analyzer capable of accurately measuring multiple impurities at the ppb levels in pure gas products. Precisive’s proprietary optical MTFS engine technology is used in conjunction with spectral analysis software that provides a very high resolution measurement requiring no field calibration. In an environment where other methodologies require carrier and calibration gases along with other supporting utilities, the robust MTFS technology provides better speed of response while eliminating the maintenance costs associated with these measurements.
Production instruments will be available in the 1st quarter of 2013.
