COSA Xentaur, a leader in moisture measurement, introduces another model of its harsh environment moisture meters; the XTDL-HR™. The XTDL-HR™ is specifically designed for High Range moisture applications where chemical reactions can potentially damage conventional moisture sensors. This new version uses the same proprietary optical algorithm and components successfully introduced last year in the XTDL-HT™ that do not degrade or drift providing reliable on-line instantaneous measurement of moisture in harsh environments. Factory calibration is maintained on both instruments thru the COSA Xentaur TruTune™ protocol that runs in the background without disrupting the measurement.
Using GasScan™ technology from Physical Science Inc, the XTDL-HR is low maintenance and can be cleaned in the field without altering the optical alignment. The HR version of the instrument is set up for hot wet environments like CO2 recovery. The XTDL-HT and XTDL-HR instruments solve the problem of controlling moisture in harsh environments where other optical and electro chemical techniques have failed.
